I stood firm on the bed and looked Him strong,
As my Dadda awoke to bring him along,

I felt it "my time" to convey just to him,
Big decision time was to be his true hymn,

This day I did know was to be my full last,
As tomorrow would be my true final gasp,

My breathing, so shallow, is work so much hard,
I know that too soon it's my final last card.

I will leave with, in my heart a sure wonder deep glow,
With the knowledge that my Parents so much love doth me show,

I know that my Dadda will see all so true through,
And he'll be with me to the end, as the right thing to do,

As I enter the tunnel of life just to leave,
His magic strokes will caress and my journey so ease.

Grieve you not, great times together we've sure had,
My life with you both made me so happy & real glad.

Yesterday & today just finally,
Time to move on to Eternity.
