My Best Freind
by Tom Simmons.........................................
I remember my best friend
Who died at the age of five
You had to love him till the end
That big old furry guy
He was the perfect dog, you know
There was nothing wrong with him
Not a single clue that we did know
That the seizures would soon begin
He became in so much pain
That we just couldn't take it
I came home from school one day
To learn that he didn't make it
I remember my best friend
Active as a bee hive
I would like him back again
