Heidi Girl
by Valarie Houston.........................................
Heidi was my sister inside of a dog's body. When I came into the world,my mom set me in a walker and let me walk around.Heidi actually taught me how to walk.I used to pull on her tail and she would pull me a couple of inches. After I began to walk on my own, my mom started giving me some of those vienna sausages.Well, Heidi walked up to me and took a bite out of it. I looked at her, then I looked at the sausage and took a bite. When my mom turned around, she thought that I had finished the whole sausage. So she gave me another one.It was 30 minutes before she realized that me and Heidi had been sharing them.Years down the road, me and Heidi became best friends. We ran together, we played tug-o-war, and we snuggled together. When she started getting older, she started to slow down, but that did not meen that we couldn't have fun. The day finally came when she started to bump into things and her sight and hearing started to go.We put Heidi down on Febuary 20, 2007. Everybody loved her, so everybody cried. Now I look at her pillow and think of how happy she is in doggie heaven. Hanging out with GOD. I love you Heidi!!!
Love,
your sister Valarie
