"It's not your fault", "It was unavoidable", "You did what you had to do to avoid a larger accident"... All true, but all useless to ease the sadness I feel for sending you to heaven. I know you could not have survived in the middle lane of the freeway for long, in the pouring rain, during rush hour, but it doesn't help it make sense. In my mind, it happens over and over again. I hope in reality that it happened once and you did not suffer. I pray for you, for your family and for all who had to see what happened. I will go home to my own furbabies and pray with them. I pray you had a wonderful life here on earth and that you have found Rainbow Bridge and are running around happier and less frightened than you were in your last moments. I didn't know you, but I love you. May you be reunited with others and may God watch over you.
