My Jazmine
by Vanessa Borrego.........................................
8/23/09 I will never forget this day or were i was or what i was eating. Or the smell that filled the RV while we were on our family trip to surf side in Galveston Tx. I have three Maltese babies, Angel who was giving to me on my sixteenth brithday. I named him Angel because the first time i laid my eyes on him, he was a white little fury puppy and the way the sun shined through his coat made him look like a angel. We then got Jazmine for my mom when i was 18, my mom wanted the smallest one out of the batch. She kept saying i want the smallest one, i want the smallest one. Like she was a little girl in a pet store her self. Since angel Is a boy and Jazmine was a girl guess what happened......we got Princess!!When Jazmine got pregnant the first time we took her to the doctor and of course they told us she only had one baby in there because she was so small and we would have to watch her because she probably won't make it. Yea she proved them wrong but she did loose her baby. He didnt make it, we thought thats it. Jazmine was so sad she went around the whole day trying to find her baby. My uncle buried it before she could get too attahced. She satyed in her cage all day, myy mom said ok that's enough jazmine you need some air. When she looked in her cage she saw something moving under Jazmine leg, my mom reached in and saw she had another puppy. My mom called me all excited, we called everyone in our phone book that we knew. After a year she was pregnant again and lost the baby, we didnt even know this time. She didn't show at all. On a Sunday we were packing up to go home from surf side, i was sitting down in the RV at the table eating white rice with sausage crazy i know. My dad flings the door open and puts Jazmine on the floor of the RV.He shouted "something wrong with Jazmine", i thought what did she get into this time. I looked at my baby with blood gushing from her head and onto the floor.I remember running to her and because for once i didnt know what to do for my baby. I felt she was looking at my saying mommy help me and i couldnt. I couldn do anything but drop to the floor and cry. I cried so hard i could't breath and i was about to pass out. When my dad came in and told me she was gone i lost it.My dad had to help me breath so nothing could happen to me. Jazmine was a fun and loving baby, she loved to play with her baby, she loved me and i loved her as if she was my own baby.I still hurt to this day thinking about my baby and there was nothing i could do. But i believe god had a purpose for Jazmine to have Princess as a surprise. Spwe can keep apart of her while we were her on here waiting to be with Jazmine again. Every day i prey to god and talk to my Jazmine and ask her to let me that she is ok and if she knows i really did love her. I love you my sweet babygirl, R.I.P 8-23-09.
