On October 28, 2001 we got our wonderful kitty. Only 5 weeks old, Gypsy was a pure Black cat. She was very cute, but she had claws like the devils. She would hang on to my leg so hard she would draw blood!I had scratches all over my leg! Finally my mom gave up and got her declawed at 6 months of age. From then on she was a perfect cat. But on one day, my mom went to go in the shower. Still very young for a cat, (and me being only 3 at the time) I well... stuffed her into our couch pillow. When my mom heard the loud crys, she came out and saved Gypsys life. I didnt no any better. So I couldnt really say much. On Halloween nights, we would let her out to scare the people in our development. It actullay worked, and it was funny to see people get kinda freaked out. Its not that we are a mean family, but we just try to be in the halloween spirit! Life went on for her as happily as ever. But on May 30 2008, the vet diagnosed her with Throat cancer. She had 2 to 3 months to live. I broke down in tears. She was only 7 years old!I enjoyed her while I could. Sadly, on July 17 2008 she had to be put down. We coulndnt let her suffer any longer.I saw her hair on our blankets and it made me cry. Gypsy is our precious kitty. She will have her space in our hearts forever.
