It seems like only yesterday I got that frightfull call.
A cat had been abandoned and was close to heaven's call.
No food or water had been left she was in dreadful state.
She was so very skinny
I worried about her fate.
With tender loving care
I nursed her back to health.
She won my heart the very first day so I brought her home to stay.
Oreo took to her right away and even taught her how to play
She was so sweet and loving too
Now she's gone and I'm so blue.
