Oh Lily you were always our best friend,
I always hoped you would be here to the end.
you have left our lives with hurt and great cost,
but I promise you will never be lost.
You are at your best where you now lay,
in our hearts you will always stay.

We will always be able to hear your bark and growl,
even though your no longer on the prowl.
We will never play and run through the yard together,
but i know that where you are it doesn't even matter the wheather.

We will never forget all your years of protection,
it never went without detection, we will remember you always upon reflection.

You so precious and quite laying in your little pink bed, makes us wonder why you had to be taken from us to where you have now been lead. We can't even grasp the idea with our number of heads.

We will always wonder why sometimes life is not really fair, cause you did not deserve to stop breathing our wonderful air.

Well I guess it's really time to say goodbye, I can say we will love you forever and it's the truth cause I could never tell a lie.
