Minnie is one of the many throwaway kittens I have taken in over the years. She was a beautiful smokey grey with yellow soulful eyes. The vet said she must have been from a Russian Blue backgroud since she had such thick short fur. She was ill from the get go; I figured it was just a kitty cold, as usual, so off to the vet. But, she didn't get better. After 7 months, everyday being a struggle to get air through her nose, she gave up. She had been to the vet 6 times in 7 months; antibiotic after antibiotic, nothing helped her. She sat in my lap more than usual, cried more than usual for attention, slept more than usual, refused to eat and I knew it was the day to release her from this hard life she had for her short time with me. I'm sorry that I couldn't help you get well. I really tried as hard as I could. I cried in your fur, I held you and prayed so many times to God to make you well. But, I failed you. I'm so sorry, Minny. Please, say hi to Otis, Boo, Lucy, Mickey, Smokey, Jase, Tasha, PattyCat, and so,so many more that my list could go on and on. Breathe deep and strong now, little one, I miss you. Love Mom Cindy
