From the start I knew you were special,
You added to my life,
With your quirky ways and cheeky moves
And funny playful fights.

You liked to share your teeth a lot,
Much to others despair!
But you and I, we bonded,
For me you were always there.

You loved to "help" me in the garden
And dig a hole or two,
You'd dig out my pots, then up you'd pop,
With a muddy nose and a proud look!

You'd follow me around,
Especially for the treats!
It made me laugh to watch you
Always full of chaos and mischief!

You were my pal,
A ferret maybe,
But to say goodbye
Left a void in me.

I will miss you
But you'll always be "My Alfie"
The ferret i loved,
Beyond belief.
