On my 45th birthday you came as a total surprise,
From person, who lets say, wasn't so nice.
He put you in a bathrub filled with broken glass,
Not knowing where to keep you, so you couldn't make a dash.
When we found out where he had you kept,
Joey went thru the window to rescue you, our pet.
Two weeks later I was told the people who so graciously & quickly gave you away,
Now suddenly decided $200 would keep you our way.
Without a thought we gave them the money,
Making it official, you were our little honey.
You intimidated and nipped many a person some yelling help from Joe,
and that's when Aunt Bebe named you Cujo.
From the first night we had you, our bed became yours,
Under the blankets, down by our feet, each night claiming more.
Doing all the dog tricks was definately not your thing,
But dancing for a treat, was all you had to bring.
You accepted Bailly into your home,
Letting him know his place, by the sound of his moan.
Cindy, everyone loved you so,
And that's why it was so hard to let you go.
Up in heaven you won't need to cough,
As here on Earth, you did more than enough.
Now you can hunt and dig up those moles,
Without having to worry about making holes.
