When i first met my Cassie she was in a truck full of other puppies bound for some pet store .The moment i saw her, she was so silly looking, with this face that just tore at my heart strings.Well i pulled her off the truck and from that day on she was my lil,Big terror..Even at 2400.00 dollars i had to have her.. so i broke the bank that day.. But then got my money back because she had hip dysplasia..The vet told me it wasnt severe and that she has a better chance of living with it than getting the surgery.So i followed his orders and sure enough she compensated for it..She was so full of spunk always..I also had another Mastiff "Sammy" who took her under his wing.. tried to teach her the right way.. but that didnt work... she was always into something and i would get so mad.. but even then she looked at me with those eyes and i couldnt be mad at her for very long...Cassie turned 7 in Sept of 2006 and was diganosed with Cancer on December 1st..she had cancer in her front leg..we thought she broke it, but it was far worse than that... The Vet wanted to put her down then.. and i said NO WAY... i need more time with her, and needed her here with us for Christmas and New Years.. She had the will to live and i couldnt put her down that night....i said she wasnt ready yet, she would give me the sign.Well, today i got that sign and "Cassie" followed the Rainbow Bridge home today at 4:00 pm.. She is running and playing with my old dog Bubba now,, who also died of Cancer in Sept of 2001..i can see them now.. Her pulling him all over the place with a towel.. Well girl..I'm gonna miss you so very much... I am so happy that your not in pain anymore and your with all your friends now...I will see you one day and you can destroy all the garbage pails you want.. I love you and miss you Cassie.... mommy
