chance
by joann alberson.........................................
chance came to me when he was 10yo,when i came home from work thursday evening he had passed on to rainbow bridge,he was 17 yo old. i miss him because when ever he wanted something he always barked until i would give in some of the time, when i would be getting ready for work he had this big pillow and when it was time to eat be would start barking it is time for me to eat, hurry up mom i miss this to. once he and i and his aunt donna(bestfriend)were coming from my parents house and we stopped by maumelle lake to let the dogs run around, chance was on the picnic table and aunt donna had a cup of ice, it fell over and she pick it up and it fell over again, she said jo, chance knocked my cup over,i said he wants some ice, she gave it to him and he was happy. he also came to me with a moose (reindeer) and it was two time bigger than him and he would hump and sleep with it,but not in my bed. i miss him.he was so sad at first when he came to me, the people dropped him off and he sat at the front door for two weeks before he finally realized hey this is a good home and i am loved here, and no one will bother me and dump all my food in my water bowl and drive me crazy. i love my little man,he is my baby boy i will see you some day and i thank God everyday for letting me be a part of your life, you were a little 10 lb blessing to me, you will always be in my heart,i love you chance.
