I'd never owned a dog until Boo-Boo! I had him for 15 years and he died a month after I had been declared clear of breast cancer. After that I swore never to "fall in love" again. Wouldn't you know--along came a sad, frozen little beagle in my field, so I fell in love with Miss Maggie Mae and said "okay-that's it-no more!!" Apparently, 2 months ago, Boo had other ideas and spoke to the "man upstairs" as a little hairy beastie was being tossed out of a car. She landed in my yard--I brought her in, Maggie approved. She sat on my lap and gazed at me---and I saw Boo's eyes--the ones that look into your very soul, ask for nothing, and promise love forever. I still miss my Sweetie Boo--but he sent his love on thru Miss Maggie and the newest delivery--Jazzy. I can only hope he's not thinking he has the love of 6 doggies to send to me!!! Not that they would be turned away------------
