One day you were here running around the house all happy and full of life.
The next day you were gone....it happened that quickly.
Despite all your problems , the knee surgery , the cataract surgery , the back surgery.
You came through it all with flying colors ... happy as could be.
You were your usual self , a FUN LOVING , MISCHIEVOUS , HAPPY Little Girl.
But the cancer, the darn oral cancer .. that you couldn't beat.
You couldn't win that one last battle.
I am so sorry that I couldn't help you just ONE LAST TIME.
I couldn't give you the extra , well deserved , years of life to enjoy.
I am TRULY SORRY Dorcie ...TRULY , TRULY SORRY.
You were a good girl , a VERY GOOD GIRL.
For thirteen years , you gave nothing but JOY , LOVE and LAUGHTER.
You were a CHARACTER , whose personality was ( and will forever be ) unmatched.
They say that you don't know what you have till it's gone.
But I knew, yes I knew , you were special....VERY , VERY SPECIAL.
Our lives are all we have , and yours was taken,
WAY TO SOON.......why , I'll never know or understand.
