Gena was a good dog, she would never hurt anyone on purpose. I remember one time we were at Flathead lake and were having a bon fire, and Gena being the puppy she was,backed right into the fire and I had to run to the rescue and help her, I picked her up and carried her to the water and put the fire out, and until the day she died, I think you could still see the burn spot on her tail. And another time she was a little older and could run really fast, she was chasing this guy on his motor bike and made him crash, but only because he was speeding. She was a smart dog and knew the dangers of cars because she witnessed the death of my uncle's dog, Trout, from then on she stayed away from cars. I will really miss the way she would jump up on my bed and lay down right on me, she was my teddy bear. But I know that she's not suffering anymore, and that makes me feel better. Gena girl, I'll meet you there at the Rainbow Bridge sooner or later.
