If only i had known about the danger lurking near,a coyote a hunter,and you were right there,in front of the house,but still there. If only i had known what was happening, i would have protected you,i would have saved you,the love of my life. So now i search for you,to bring you home,to bury you near.But you are not here,you are not to be found.My heart is broken,i cannot sleep.SO now instead of two food dishes,there is one.There is only one water bowl,i put your's away.There is no one meowing at me in the morning,demanding to be fed.My house feels empty with you not here.The other pets feel this too,they are quiet and subdued.If only i can be sure, you know how much i loved you and still do.If only i had the power to go back and change that day,but i can't.If only this pain would go away,that i wouldn't cry.
