He opened eyes and looked around. There were know walls, no way he was bound. No iv's, no vets, no more pain. He looked across the gap in space, and saw his mommy tears rolling down her face. He sent out a little kiss and he swears up and down that he thinks she felt it. Then off he runs across the grass and sees two figures standing there. One is of a pure white cat, she has a blue and green eye. The other is a little dog, he is finally sitting straight. He has never mett these two before, but doesn't need too to know who they are. He looks at the cat and gives her a kitty hug, says I know who you are Snowball. He then gives the dog a hug, and says Mommy always wondered what happened to you Josh. Snowball purrs loudly and then says "welcome to the otherside of the rainbow bridge. This is where we wait for our Mommy to come and get us, then we'll be back with her forever." ButterScotch then looks around and sees all the other animals that are waiting too. He then asks "will she remember that we are here? That we are waiting for her to come?" Josh gives a little doggie chuckle and says " There is no worry there, for she will always remember us. She's waiting for the day to cross over that bridge too. We are her children and even after all these years she still loves and misses Snowball and myself. So calm your fears little brother, for it is impossible for her to forget any of us." He lets out a little sigh and then adds "but I sure do miss her hugs." Then all the animals lead him away to a little pool of water. A beautiful cat name Fifi came forward, "this is the pool where we can all look in on our human's when ever we want. You can use this pool to visit their dreams too. Though when they wake it'll be only a dream, they'll still be able to feel your kisses and hear your purrs. It seems to help them, at least alittle bit." At that moment butterflies burst out of the field and off all the animals ran, able to do things that in life they were unable to do. ButterScotch ran with his brother and sister, the pain he had felt hours before seeming to be nothing more than a distant memory.
