king had his sleen removed. he was very sick before this operation and miraculously recovered and was doing great! he was 13 yrs. old at the time. little did i know but the vet left something behind .king became sick very suddenly 4 months after the operation. long story short... i took king to another vet (i had moved to another county ) and this object had to be removed. king made it through the operation but overnight he had a turn for the worse... he died in the vet's office that removed the object the first vet had left. i never got to say "goodbye" to my beloved mr. king. i had him cremated and when i got his ashes back in the box was the rainbows bridge poem. the poem has been such a source of comfort for me and always will be! thank you rainbows bridge!!!
