This morning I a woke without my friend beside my bed.
As walked down the hall looking for you in your favorite spot, you were not there.
As I buttered my toast you were not there begging for a bite.
When I swept the floor picking up enough hair to build another dog, you were not there.
When I went to my room to prepare for the day, you were not there.
