Daunte's Poem
You were our hearts and our souls
our lives and our home.
We miss you so much everyday
we don't understand why you couldn't stay.
God decided he needed you more
and I am not sure what it is for.
I know you are special and your heart is true
but he could have taken any dog but you!
Your momma still crys everyday
and struggles to understand why he took you away.
You are my heart and my soul
I think of you wherever I go.
People tell me time will heal the pain
but everyday my tears fall like rain.
I am so sad I don't know what to do
my life is so empty with you!
I hope your happy and pain free
and for that day I can't wait to see.
I know that someday we will again walk together
but for now each minute is like forever.
I love you bear and always will
Till I see you again over the hill.
