Hello friends its me Holly Girl. I just had to write and say thank you to all the people who prayed for me after my new family found out I had heart worms. It has been two weeks since I had my treatments. So far all is looking great. I am still a little weak but that should go away soon.
I need to ask you a favor. You see while I was sick I heard about a puppy named Sugar. I saw a picture of her and she is so cute. The thing is when she was only a few days old someone cut her back feet off. Then they threw her away when she was only 6 weeks old. A nice man found her and took her to the vets. The vet made her some new feet. They do not look like my feet, they look more like socks. She can run like the wind in them though. They say you do not miss what you never had. But I think I would miss my back feet, how else would I be able to jump up on Moms jeep to play Gueen of the mountain? So I was wondering if just maybe you could say a prayer for Sugar. She will need it all her life.
The other pet I was hopeing you could pray for is a two month old kitten. After she scratched her owner he held her under water, cut her with a knife, and then set her on fire. She crossed over the bridge a few days ago.
I know first hand what it is like to be abused. After my first family moved without me I was left to fend for myself. I was shot with a B.B. gun more than once. I have had rocks thrown at me and done without food or water. I have lay besided the road on cold rainy days. I was lucky though I found a nice family to take me in.
There is always food to eat and a soft bed to sleep in.
I know how much your prayers helped me when I was sick. So to night before you go to sleep say a Prayer for Suger, that she has a long and happy life even without her back feet. And for the kitten that was killed, may she find peace at the bridge. And for all the throw away hounds like me, may they all find love.
